About the Foundation
Empowering communities through open-source software, digital literacy, and AI education
Our Mission
The RATi™ Open Software Foundation is a Canadian not-for-profit dedicated to making technology education accessible to everyone. We believe that understanding how software works—and how to build it—empowers individuals and strengthens communities.
We pursue this mission through:
- Open-source development — Creating tools and resources that anyone can use, study, and improve
- Educational programs — Hands-on learning opportunities in software development, AI, and digital literacy
- Community building — Connecting learners, contributors, and mentors around shared knowledge
All of our work is released for public benefit under open-source licenses.
