Empowering communities through open-source software, digital literacy, and AI education
Explore Our ProgramsAbout Us
The RATi™ Open Software Foundation is a Canadian not-for-profit dedicated to empowering communities through technology education. We believe that understanding how software works—and how to build it—should be accessible to everyone.
We create open-source tools, run hands-on learning programs, and build community around shared knowledge. Everything we produce is freely available for public benefit.
Our Mission
Open Source
Promoting and developing open-source software for public benefit. All our work is freely available for anyone to use, study, and improve.
Digital Literacy
Teaching essential digital skills including blockchain technology, AI agents, and online safety through hands-on projects.
AI Ethics
Fostering responsible AI development and helping communities understand the ethical implications of emerging technologies.
Community
Building collaborative networks where knowledge is shared openly and everyone can contribute to public-benefit projects.
